Dr Klown is a non-governmental organisation which is dedicated to provide clown doctor services at Mater Dei Hospital (Malta) and also visits the children in the Gozo General Hospital. We all know how hospital can be scary and boring for kids and this is where clown doctors can help. Clown doctors are not doctors but volunteers from every walk of life that are artistically and psychologically trained to entertain children in hospital. Clown doctors try and make a difference using the healing power of humour in patients’ life. After all we all know that “laughter is the best medicine”.
